Hooking up Korg triton le to multi trk

I have a Kork Triton Le and a Korg D1600mk II I am using the LE to the 1600 using a 1/4 cable and just recording my beats into the 1600 as an input however i wanted to know if there was a better connection other than the 1/4 cables to improve sound quality from the LE to the 1600?

I do basically the same thing with the classic and the 1/4 works great, but the classic has the 6 individual outs, if the LE has those I suggest using them to route your tracks individually to the fulliest to get the best sound. Also what input type are you going into, AUX, Stereo, . Try different input types and see which works best. My 1680 and my Tascam 788 work almost totally different so I don't know about the D1600

oh ok cause i was thinking there was another connection to hook it up to the 1600 to get better sound quality.
