Help with new Sampler!!

I just bought an Akai S-900 off of Ebay and I am trying to figure out how to lay different samples and drum hits across the keyboard. The manual isn't much help. Does anybody have any experience with this sampler? Thanks in advance?

find a disk with some pre made drum kit programs and load it then replace the sound with your sounds
