I just got a used Behringer EuroRack UB 2222FX PRO Mixer

http://www.behringer.com/UB2222FX/index.cfm?lang=ENG

And I wanna know how I would go about connecting it to my PC. I'm not completely obvlivious but I wanna make sure I dont have to make multiple trips down to Guitar Center for wiring.

So, If you can please be as detailed as possible, thanks!

Right Now I'm Running the M Audio MObile Pre as my soundcard, I'm waiting on a M audio Audiophile (insert number here)

But as far as the mobile pre is concerned:
It has 2 Ins and 2 Outs
2 x 2 16-bit/48kHz analog I/O w/ preamps
2 mic inputs
2 high-impedance line ins for guitar, bass, etc.

Oh and I plan on testing out the onboard effects, there are 99 of em, so I'm bound to find something i like. I have Waves Diamond bundle on the PC as well as other stuff, but I'd still like to try the Effects on the mixers preamp

That's a nice looking Board Sanova. Anyway, to the connections. First, the 1/4" outs from your Mobile to the 1/4 line ins on channel 1 & 2 of the mixer. If you want to use the effects on the mixer, then plug your mic or mics into the next channel's (3) TRS mic in. If you're NOT gonna use the onboard effects for your vocals, then I would suggest you plug the mic straight into the Mobile's mic inputs to avoid any additional noise the mixer might add into the signal path. You have 2 sets of outs from the mixer, TRS and 1/4". I didn't check the specs, but chances are the 1/4" outs may be unbalanced. If that's the case, you should get balanced TRS to 1/4" cables and use the balanced TRS outs. If they are both balanced then the choice is yours. You could then use the other set of main outs to go to your monitors, or you could also use the control room outs for that if you like. Any additional gear like samplers or keyboards would just go to a free channel (or 2 channels for stereo) on the mixer. Any external effects gear gets connected to the aux send/return I/O's on the mixer. The inserts on the back could be used for an ADAT deck. That Mobile looks decent, so anytime you're going to record vocals or external audio into your PC, if you aren't using external effects, you should probably connect right to the soundcard to get the cleanest audio signal. If I'm wrong, you know somebody will correct me so don't worry. The UB and Mobile both look hot. Let me know how you like them when you're up and running. Good Luck S. Peace!
