For some reason the YT compression was extra heavy on this one and killed the stereo image so trying to figure out how to deal with that haha

if anyone has recommendations on how to best upload to YT I'm all ears. I usually use the 320kbps MP3 because I noticed that the wav tended to sound worse.

I noticed that too. I get the best results with 192kbps MP3.
