Has anyone ever used Izotope Trash??

i have it, but don't know what its good for..lol..please enlighten me.

When I saw a crystal method video on youtube, (Check it out by typing in m-audio), they talked about how they liked to "gritty-up"" or "dirty up" their tracks. When I saw this video, I immediately copped IZotpe trash and have been experimented with this plug in.

Trash is just a plug in that distorts/reduces the bit sounds/turns any clean digital sound into a "grimier" one.

I read in an interveiw that Just Blaze uses it to give a "dirty" feel to some of his samples...

(hence the name "Trash")

Yeah I also read that Just Blaze interview.
I need a new computer. As son as I load up Trash, shit starts to lag.

yeah like everyone said// my first impression was "haha is this what this does??" if you want to dirty up samples there are much better ways.

anyone have the link to that just blaze article? maybe im missing something

trash is good for dirtyin up your drums also if you wanna make electronic sounding drums, guess it depends on the style of music u make weather u'll deem it worthwhile, if your adventurous with your drums its great!
