How many of yall heard the grindin parody on the Ownerz cd by Gangstarr? Its hilarious, i know some of you like that stuff, but i couldnt stop laughin when I heard that. Anyhow, wonderin what yall think of it.

I thought it was very funny too, though I am very tired of hearing Gangstarr, especially Premier (who should keep his trap shut and just make music ), always dissing the more commercial rap stuff etc, however, they feature such artists as Jadakiss, Snoop, Fat Joe etc...I mean, these are commercial rappers.
One should think that a group at their age etc, wouldn't be as one track minded and bitch about other groups etc.
They lost a point with me there...

Cope: i find Premier usually has good points.....as far as the industry is concerned. he doesnt speak upon the state of commercial rappersas he does the Hiphopindustry on a whole.

Cope: lol yeah its all good ofcourse we arnyt gonna argue over it or some shit. can you name the albums which he talk about commercial rappers. maybe i missed the times he spoke aboutt hat or maybe i dont have those particular Gangstarr albums. id like to hear what he had to say. so point me in the direction of it if you can

I wouldn't say that he speaks on any particular artists, but he always speaks on commerical hip-hop/rap and as you said, the industry as a whole, however, indirectly, his thoughts about commercial and mainstream hip-hop/rap always shines through bright and clear.
