This is ridiculous. Like the user is "making music". AI music slop, yeah.

It's getting really tiring. Google just had their I/O conference and I guess so many people hate AI they had to turn off the comments to their video. :woot:

You still rapping or what, chick?

Now's a good time to voice your beef, some social commentary on AI users.

We can do an ill mixtape, stricly no AI, and put some beats and raps together.

Get some of the other prods and rappers here involved

I use AI for copyright free samples now
That's the first thing I thought when these tools came out. It's pretty cool to be able to do that. Making an entire AI prompt beat though, hell no.
Above was my initial thoughts

Which one are you using?

IMHO the samples from AI engines that are illegally trained on copywritten material will be illegal sooner or later.
And I also see this becoming an issue potentially.

There are plenty of music licensing and sync that will not accept any AI involvement.
Which ironically is one of the first fields I'd imagine would suffer as a result of AI - why search for Music in libraries when you can just ask it to be generated.

Copyright legislation is a weird one, it is supposed to be in place to support creators and writers, but it adapt and changes sometimes to meet society needs, and it could easily be chosen to benefit public and forsake musicians. Though it should be steered towards protecting genuine creativity and originators.

Doing that is only cheating yourself, that takes all the fun out of it, and IMO the whole point of making music.
