try an artist by tha name of Jim Hall...Ive sampled tha shit out of that guy in tha past and hes always got some crazy picks and strums...

Just dig through your parents records/cd's and chop shit up!

the meters are the shit!!! haha word...yo, if your just looking for the sounds, get a prosounds funk guitar sample cd...usually the riffs and melodys are weak, but if you chop the sounds right, you can get some ill funk
