Fucking FLAC...

SmartSoundQuickTracks Plugin.msi

^^^Well when I try to use this FLAC prg for the second time ever , the first time was quite awhile ago, and now I see why.
It says that it cannot find the above pgm and goes into an endless loop of trying to find it.
Now being no slouch I have just finished spending about 2 hours googoling and reading on diff forums solutions to the problem, none of which seem to work for me. I have re dl'd FLAC and I have tried installing a quicktracks update but I dont seem to have QuickTracks in the first place.
I noticed that a download QuickTracks search yeilds jack on google except many more desperate people..
WTF gives?
Anybody have a solution for this delima?

Solution

Get Winamp,its free and it will convert to WAV for you , if you want it to convert to mp3 you gotta buy the pro version, but you can download the full version and it will do what you need it to do.
Pretty neat lil prgm too.

So... you were trying to use FLAC to convert to MP3? Didn't know it could do that. I use it to decompress FLAC files and it works fine.

It can, but I was just trying to get it to burn to cd, but it wouldnt do it, so I needed to convert it to WMF THEN it would burn,,Buuuurrrrn BUUUURRRRRNN!

You could convert the wav to mp3 using COOL EDIT PRO or ADOBE AUDITION

No need to d/l the "pro" version... damn piraters.

I'm sure Peter Quistgard would let you use his Cool Edit =x
As would Marcus Hardmeier.

No need to download more shit just to do one thing..
