Right click in the tempo screen and select tap. A little window will open. It works very well but it won't give you the decimals. I'm real happy about this one, I was just starting to push FL4 harder doing vocals and now I gotta to place about 4 gigs of stuff from fl4 to fl5

DAMN, i gotta cop that! Yo, do i still have to set the tempo in the hundreds for my 1/32 hat rolls??

Naw you never had to do that. Some people just can't get away from programing drums in the step seq. You have to go to the piono roll to get those inbetween notes. I've worked both ways and the piano roll actually works better. Plus you can use delay if you really aren't comfortable with the Piano roll. The delay in the channel settings that is.

Here's some good info:

I wonder how the FPC works?

Haven't really played with it much, either and WON'T until I set aside dedicated time, but I've printed its Help material form the manual and will go over it until I get the chance. Hopefully this will save me some bucks cuz I'm plannin to cop the MPC.

"FPC"...those guys are crazy, aren't they?

I just copped FL Studio 5. I was going to get around to getting it a while ago on 4 but I procrastinated. I really like the direction FL Studio is going. Give it a few more years and it could be a major contender, already thousand of people worldwide are probably making tracks on this thing.

yeah, man they took that feature out. That was pretty sheisty. i always used that thing and felt comfortable with my loops. Now all of our loops get automatically stretched and fucked up. Complain in their messgae board about the problems. Everyone there is and they are talking about releasing another fix soon.

I was having problems with this too until I found out you can right click on the length knob in the time stretching box and select how long the loop should last - I was about to kill myself beofre I found that.
