Hi everyone,

Short intro: I have been making/producing my own music (mostly house) for about 3 years now. But a few weeks ago I started making beats.
My question now is if I can get some feedback on them. I post the beats on my Soundcloud page:
https://soundcloud.com/mxrtnn

I want to return the favor ofcourse, so let me know!

Yes, the Showcase is the spot to get/give feedback.

For Soundcloud, it's best to just put the link to the beat. Just paste it, it will automatically show the player.

Both tracks sound like you left your metronome on, too distracting from its resonance peeking out from snare. But that to the side beats sound good, I can definitely here your house making background in them, from how much you sticking to the grid and bridge and sounds from transitions. Good Tracks, keeper coming.

I like the composition and sound design. The arrangement is definitely better than what im doing now, so thanks for the inspirational kick in the but. If i were to give any constructive criticism, it would be that the drums don't have enough oomf, in particularly the kick. I'd personally want more boom and sustain, but perhaps thats just personal taste. I'm still learning my self, but maybe more compression with a longer release, and and/or some distortion/saturation. Truly im just looking for things to nit pick, but ultimately both tracks were fantastic and inspiring
