Which one is better for Hip Hop?? I use the Motif ES Rack, but i wanted to see wat ya'll think. I've heard numerous times Triton, since every hip hop producer has one. But the Motif ES is newer.

*sigh*

this has been beat to death man... I mean it really comes down to personal prefence and talent. I know cats with just a motif who are killing it. And i also know cats who own all three who cant do shit.

Sound wise, motif = realistic
fantom = synths and sampling editing(as well as filters)
trition= Lame in my opionion

But again this is just my personal view

I agree with class on its all about preferences. I really like the effects and what you can do to samples on the fantom. and I like that it has a good blend of FX and with the expansisons you can bring it close to the motif, but somebody who knows what they want can make heat with anything.

I own a triton, cut that one out of there... It's a good peice (not to bash it) but it probably doesn't have the sounds your looking for... Go with one of the other two.. I'd personally probably go with a Motif ES myself.. The Fantom is super ill too though, it all depends on what your looking for.. Go to Guitar Center or somewhere that you can play with them and learn them a little.. This way you won't be taking a loss by just going and buying a machine someone else says is dope...

it really has nothin 2 do with the equipment, its the producers. a well taught producer can make anything sound good u jus gotta kno how 2 use what u got, hands down.

All of my tracks r made on the Korg TRITON 100%.
