DVD Player to DAW

I Recently bought a DVD Player/Writter and i want to search through a collection of records that i own. But i dont know how to get the cd audio to my daw (cubase) i saw a video of some guys sampling cds so i know its possible but how?

i found it, you can copy every track from the cd to the pc from windows media player

Awesome you sussed it out . There's probably lots of ways to do it if you get sick of Windows media player . If I've got sogs I want to sample on my pc I usually play them and record them into my DAW as they play.

Im guessing you're doing the same thing ? or you could just load the song straight into your DAW and cut it up.
