dr rhythm is just a series of drum machines. it doesnt have a sampler and the sequencer cannot control external equipment. the oldest MPC (60) will run circles around it without even tryin hard.

b4 Dr Rhythm took off...
yea... im about to take u guys back. around 1986, b4 i bought the Casio RZ1, i was FIENDIN for a drum machine. i stumbled across something that was cheap and had some decent sounds. plus, it could run on batteries and was mad slim, so u could put it in ur pocket and take it with u.... it was the BOSS DR 220E and i copped one for about $200. it held me down for about a sec. after i got bored with it, someone at my job at the time asked if he could buy it off me, but he wanted to hold it over the weekend. bein the gullible azz i was at the time, i let him hold it. the next week, that punk never showed up to work again. after a few months (i left that job) i bought the RZ1. thats what helped me fall in love with sampling. (that and the Roland MKS100). Boss made 2 types. the 220E with electronic sounds, and the 220A the one with acoustic sounds. so, here r the original DR Rhythms:
