I was wondering how Timbaland and Linkin Park do the melody studder thing so that it's still on beat... If you're wondering what I'm talking about Tim does it on "Put You On the Game" at 3:35-3:42... It's not the greatest example but Linkin Park does it a lot and very well... Please give me some different ideas if you could...

Here is exactly what I'm talking about:

Only thing Tim did on "Put you on to game" was made another sequence with and added a break effect and a couple reverse effects. I know linkin park uses one of those Korg Elctrotribe series modules to do those studdering effects your talking about. But theres so many diff ways to do it. i think there was alreay a post on this. just search the fourm

I did a little research for ya, this is what linkin park uses to do the studder effect
