Oh word, well in that case def some DJ Hoppa, Order 66, Stress, OminousRed, SmashBros, just recently i was pleasantly surprised by Gene Flos stuff as well as Vices, and Critical Stringz.

yo good looks on the listen!

as for me I try to follow people as much as possible, I'm always open to hear new stuff. Unless someone is staying consistent with posts and dropping music, I gotta admit I do forget about them until they refresh my memory....lol.

I was gonna say I follow everybody active on this site. In fact Im prolly everybodies biggest fan, I keep up more with artists here and whats up with the music and ideas more than anywhere or anyone else.
I think there are extremely talented cats on here that are all very helpful and open to doing work, every DL that has come out since I have been here I get and bang for at least a month.

Whenever someone sends a PM to check out this or that, I normally listen and provide feedback. Illmuzik is different, in that its more like a community and guys on here collaborate
and are friends.
I mean, the Smash Brothers met on Illmuzik lol. No better example than that!

If I'm working in Charlotte, I'm going to visit Relic.

If I'm up in Montreal area, I'm going to visit Fade and PG.

When I was working in NYC, I invited the Smash Brothers through.

On the flipside, its guys on this site that have checked for my info, advice, columns.
I've had guys tell me stories of how they printed out an article to use as a reference when choosing management. A lot of guys that are "Illmuzik OG's" actually found the site through
Blowing Up From the Basement which shocked me as well. It's a two way street.

thnx for the feedback. i suspected most people will give you props one day but not care to follow you at all unless you got attention from a major scene(on some competition ish). hopefully i can get in on this community. thnx again

Nah, its not any rival/jealousy type of vibe on Illmuzik. It is a lot of constructive criticism. A lot of beatmakers here actually see a lot of growth the showcases.

My advice is if you wanna get your name known and consistent on illmuzik is to contribute advice - if you're not an expert simply sharing your experience will do the job.
Don't "hide" behind a screen name, voice your opinions, post pics and videos and excellent beats. Good luck

Yes (and this is filler because the computer said my reply was too short, so it wouldn't post.)
