I read a lot bout him, and a lot of radio dj's are like : david banner's like a pimp gone be a hit record....

I only checked that "like a pimp" track out.

... Perhaps other tracks are hotter. He's a dope rapper but that track ain't no real killa. I was expecting something like "we ready" or "cadillac pimpin"

I think texas rappers are the hottest at the moment. Slim thug and ESG, UGK, Paul Wall and Chamillion, Lil Flip, ...
(One of the best tracks that I ever heard was : Big Tiger - 2 much money.)

I think I caught a part of Banner's video the other day (not sure), but I just can't get into that kind of style. There's a few tracks out of the south that sound tight, but it's just not for me. I do like a few tracks from Dirty, not bad. UGK has been puttin' it down for a while now, I remember their track off the Menace 2 Society sdtrk! Ill.

Like a Pimp is actually one of the few Dirty South tracks that I find ok...and I'm not very fund of the South.
