Cool Edit Experts/Users HELP

I just reinstalled cool edit pro 2, and when i want to mix a beat, and go to multi track view...I insert the wave file, like the hi hats, then the lil bar comes up...but for some reason i can't drag the end of it to be smaller, i can only loop it....does anyone kno why? is there some setting or option i need to turn on or off?

does that really make sense?

Hey,

You have to turn that feature on...Go to View>Enable Clib Edge Dragging (I'm running Audition right now, but it should either be the same or similar in CEP).

i think it was"view > enable block edge dragging" if i got the question right
