That's a cold beat starting @ 0:38! Overall the beat is dope, like the darkness of it. But around the minute mark it sounds like it needs another instrument added to fill the sound a little more. Then with the progression and switch up of the beat after that, I think the sound texture of the drum u added needs a little more of a solid sound. Just my thoughts, hopefully it helps. Its a good beat tho

I'd like to know your workflow for beat / video. Do you complete the beat first and then look at a video?
Beats are sounding dope. Videos equally so, maybe even better. You definitely have an eye/ear for vibes and creating a mood. I agree with @Fyyn3stSymphoni in regards to throwing in a few change ups. Even just a bit more instrumentation or even dropping some things in and out to break it up.

@hosie, workflow wise I might have some specific film footage or vocals in mind as I work on the beat which helps me focus on the kind of vibe I want.
For this one I watched a part of the original then went back to finish off melodic parts.
Other times I might be playing around laying down a melody and get a thought then to which direction I will go in, watch something, then go back and continue to build on that.
So basically unless I have a solid film / theme before hand it often comes to me during the best making process as ideas flood in.
