Care to elaborate - honestly I'm a little unsure what referring to?
Someone who gave me feedback mentioned the fx (positively) but in a very specific way and didn't think I'd used anything out of the ordinary so to speak
EDIT: oh wait I know what you man by pipe noise lol. But yeah if you meant something else by sfx then lemme know
pipe nose. you know. bubble bubble bubble bubble prlrlrlrlbrbbrlblrblrbr.
but in general, my completely personal feedback would be that everything's too "apart" in the beat. "guitarrr!
bass. drum drum drum. guitarrr!
bass.". it doesn't really feel consistent. no glue. I don't mean mixing glue I mean production/creation glue. it feels like a batch of good sounding sounds on top of eachother rather than a cohesive piece of music. I don't feel any rhythm to try to follow whatsoever. what are the drums trying to do? maybe you were more trying to win and less tryna make a beat. you're clearly capable of better.
in contrast it could've purely invoked some emotions in me instead but, it's not really doing that either. AT ALL. it's too "correct" to be emotional. actually now that I think of it, I can't hear a single risk in this beat. and that pipe noise is murdering me.
also I don't know if I make any sense - someone more professional hopefully either backs me up or calls bullshit - but the mix feels "too clear". like I'm not talking about it's too
clean (which btw, it IS too clean too but that's a diff story / matter of taste) but it feels like everything's TOO in-my-ears. I feel like I'm in a hospital waiting room. the mix smells the alcohol they clean stuff with. the beat sounds like inside of charlie puth's vagina. soap-soaked and no libido whatsoever.
and fuck that pipe!
(vocals sound a bit like chika btw)
