bassline in fruityloops

good baseline

anyone have any good tips in make a nice basseline in fruityloops. I got the kicks just need bass.

I find basslines difficult so lots of practice and knownledge
it is really hard use various methods study different ways
and see what suits you best try the piano roll make sure to
have some nice Bass samples and if it's bangin your in business. Peace

BASSLINES THAT ARE TOO BUSY TURN THE LISTENER OFF. KEEP IT SIMPLE. BASSLINES ARE SUPPOSED TO SOUND THE PART OF THE MELODY THAT ISNT BEING PLAYED.

On the Reason tutorial CD it said something about how most basslines are quantitized with the bass drum to accent the beat so its the melody you remember from the song....so when some people hum songs, they are really just performing the bassline they heard.

Of course this isn't appllicable to everything. I guess all I am saying is hum something to yourself while your beat is playing and if you like it, just play it back and see what you got.
