How do I make arpeggiated riffs in Reason.
(From Computer Music Mag) issue 102

Insert a Subtractor or any of the others
Then a Matrix unit.Create a riff on the Matrix's display and
playback.
Now flip rack to rewire it right.
Instead of the sequencer control input we did to use the
modulation inputs.
Unplug the cables that connect the matrix to the Subtractor.
connect Matrix's Note CV output to Subtractor's OSC Pitch
input.Turn the OSC Pitch knob right so that the values coming
from the Matrix are translated into full semitones.
Conect Matrix's Gate CV to the Amp Env input.
Select the Subtractor's midi channel, press Reason's play
button and play a riff. You should hear the notes played,
arpeggiated by the riff entered in the Matrix.

You can also use a CV Merger/Splitter to trigger the filter and mod env. as well
as the Amp env.

I may have a reason patch for it somewhere. Will post it if I find it.
