any emulator X users here?

i was thinking about getting this some time and using it with FL5, but I was wondering, how are the proteus 2000 sounds that come with it? are they as good as sampletank, plugsound, or hypersonic? if not can someone recommend some halion, akai, or esx24 samples (bass, string, pianos) to use with it.

I have it, didn't download the proteus bank yet.

I have the Proteus X myself. It is good but I wouls not want it as my stand alone VST. I also have Sampletank 1 & 2 XL, FM7, Korg Collection, etc. For me the Proteus X was an excellent addition to my collection of VSTs.

I have it..ilove some of the basses and synths

but i prefer Sample Tank...i have 7.5 gigs of sounds for that..ya know.

and i got a motif rack and jv1010


but VST wise...sample tank is lovely..and hypersonic doesnt hurt
