Analog Mixer

If i'm not going to be scratching and i just want to sample a record then eq it, can i use an analog mixer instead of a dj mixer? what's the difference, and which do i want?

Yes you can use an analog mixer. Go to da link below to read further on mixers. But either mixer will work but dependin on which kind you getz dependz on how many inputz u need.
