I don't know if this has been propose yet, but it would be cool to "settle " all the arguments with a bunch of match up battles: software users (reason, cubase, vst, etc) VS hardware users (mpc, motif, triton, etc).

But the only problem would be the voting, cuz maybe some people who prefer hardware over software would vote for the hardware guy...but that would be totally stupid to do that.

hmmmm. nah. it'll still come down to skill. Does sound kinda tight but yeah, somehow I don't think "software" or "hardware" will be a literal victor. He and his skill will only prevail in the end. Okay weapon of choice will matter, but IT as the winning decision will be slightly akward. I dunno I'm high leave me alone

it seems with alot of hybrid soft/hardware producers there may be a little 'civil' war. Serious tho like many i have been both and neither is necessarily better

ahhhh this is an age old one

honestly though, its pointless

i can make equal quality beats using either or, without much difference
each gives me something the other doesnt, and i work each to its own strengths, but at the end the material is dope because i made it that way.

i can make a beat using all vst's and one using all motif es, and you couldnt tell me which was which unless you recognized a patch from one application.

nice idea but its really a useless venture.

hmmm... I can make the same beat both ways as has been stated before... They'll both sound the same. My drums will be a bit better if I'm using my MPC... but I'll have everything finished MUCH faster if I'm usin software. Especially if I'm chopping samples..

Haha I thought this Argument Would Be Obsolete around here After Some Kid from England (lol no need to mention names ) Won 4 Beat This and a Battle That Using Reason and a Shitty PC ,
And by that i dont mean softwares better I just mean your either hot or your not .
