I stopped watching these shows after the first pop idol in the uk, but a friend recommended i check this out.

After watching the 2hour season premiere, boy was i overwhelmed by how many deluded people there were on the show. I thought it was bad in some of the uk auditions but this was just ridiculous! lol. One crazy chick couldnt sing for shit but she tried to back up her claims that she could by saying she got a degree in vocal performance, lol man the look on her face.

You guys should definately check it out, at worst you will get a laugh out of it.

I sort'a felt sorry for the people that really, really believed they had something, and the actual fact was that they didnt! The worst thing was how all their friends and family would keep telling them they could sing, when it was so clear that they just couldn't! Are they tone deaf? Insane? Or is it just some kind of self programming to the point where outside opinions bear no effect on what they percieve?

The sad thing was that there were so many of them and if i were a judge i would probably go mad!

What do you guys think?

an people trip about paula drinkin on the job.. you would have to drink or smoke after endless days of people thinking it is their only shot in life

people are extremely diluted.. sadly i think it's because people forgot whats really important in life. they wanna be a suppastar!!! fuck cancer and virus research, l wanna sing!! humans are too selfish in our age i am thinking, this could change.. and i think it all will very soon. but not in a good way. i.e. doomsdays upon us

so i got cable yesterday..
life is too short

I luv the first few episodes as well, but some of those people I think are actors. They just seem too weird to be true to me. Like the weird chick Darwin that looked exactly like her mother. They had to fake and staged by fox.

I think the only good part of this show is watchin the wack people perform...
Then like the very last 2 rounds...Besides Fantasia I didnt really like anyone else...
notice that most of the idols are from NC :D

lol exactly the crap ones are the only part of the show worth watching ! i think the people who encoruage them to keep singing and keep telling them they are great are worse than the singers themselves ! why keep deluding them ! ?

because it gives us something to laugh at....all their "friends" were sittin around smokin blunts last night laughing their asses off....and so was I.

that dude was really weird lol. Before he mentioned what he did for a living I already knew he was a programmer (theres a couple of characters like this on my computing course). The funniest part was at the end where he was like "wheres my stuff, where is it". Dude got some crazy eyes too.

This episode was pretty badass, Simon's "bush baby" comments cracked me up too much lol...http://youtube.com/watch?v=g8wyLsv1FKg

lol i watched this on sky yesterday, i couldnt stop laughing at that fat guy and his bush baby friend !
did anyone see the juggling guy, he went fuckin crazy when he came out the room lol despite not being able to sing a note !
