Hey ballers and ballerinas.

If I want to download music, and do so legally, which program/site would I choose if I want a large directory of hip-hop/rap/r&b/soul, preferably including the underground stuff and semi rare remixes? Is it me, or does that option not exist?

Im usin iTUNES a lot right now. I dont know why, but i feel like i trust them. Its $.99 per song and usually $10 for an album. Its def worth a try. Its also good for organizing your audio files and burnin beats to cd and all that. I think itunes is the program that comes with the ipod.

I have an iPod and I am using iTunes as library/organizer and player. However, I do not feel that their directory is that good.

I'll check out Rhapsody. That's the Real Networks thing right? I think I've taken a quick look at it before but I'll take another, longer look at it now.

Thanks for the comments so far.

Get off the crack Stress and what is P2P Homo? Why not just use a regular P2P? Are you able to find more of those man on man films you like so much on there?

Anyway, apart from buying CD's, I do download from P2P's from time to time, mostly the stuff I can't get on CD here. However, I am tired of the often bad quality and e.g. that idiotic homo who always shouts all over the track etc, and the delay there sometimes is on the new stuff being put online. Therefore, if there was a legal site I would like to use that, also for buying my CDs, as it's cheaper and the artists usually get a higher cut from downloaded songs/albums than from "physical" songs/albums bought in the store. Also, it is generally just less hazzle, and I won't mind paying for that, or to support the music and artists.

Till next time punks ;)

I never used those Mp3 sites where you can buy... but I'm wondering, what's the bitrate? and the quality? cuz, I dont really like the quality of those mp3 at 128 kbps..., it all right if it's free, but if I put money up, best to be quality...

Please keep those rantings till when you take your monthly trip to San Francisco's village.

Anyway, it doesn't seem like there is an alternative and that puzzles me. Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B/Soul has been at the top for quite a while now and I don't understand why some of these legal sites don't cater to that. Also, for me here, where some underground stuff and semi rare remixes are not available in the stores etc, it doesn't leave me with much choice, other than using a P2P, if I want those tracks...

I thought P2P was legal now, I thought they won their case. Was it Morpheous or something like that?
