Ableton for Live Beat Work

I am interested in using Live to create tracks on the spot. Has anyone performed with Live before? I use my MPC4000 as a drum set and then wanted to use Live for the sounds. All information is welcomed.....

Performed? Not so much, but its possible. I would imagine you would setup your templates before you perform. There's videos on their website, forum, and basic tutorials within the program itself that can help you. alot of producer put their live sets on youtube maybe give you some ideas.

oh yes! a lot of live gigs and djings with it! great piece of software!
it demands A LOT of practice and preparations of the sets and preparations of the sets for improvisations - if you want to sound as it should be,of course!
