is it me or there's something really different about the texture of everything in there? it doesn't sound like regular bitcrushing. maybe they cut a bit of highs offa everything, not sure. something's so... warm. I don't even think you can find this color in eminem's other resto/bass projects. many tracks from the 8 mile soundtrack don't either, it's mostly just these 2. am I overstanning or is this actually outstanding?
I think I can hear their signature in the eminem show too, especially in soldier it gets really close to that 8 mile shade, but the electric guitar/ghzghz bass take it out of that vibe a little bit.
and holy fuck, the level of creativity.
