I just finished looking at the closed thread for 50 cent....It seems that a few people feel if itwasn't for beats from dre he would really suck well I would have to say that that's other than the truth

5- In Da Club - Prduced by Dr Dre CO PRODUCED!!! BY MIKE ELIZONDO!

7- Heat - Produced by Dr Dre

8 - If I Can't - Produced by Dr Dre CO PRODUCED!!! BY MIKE ELINZONDO!

10 - Back Down produced by Dr Dre

4 out of 19 songs on an album Dre had something to do with and only 2 of the were produced by himself no discredit to Dre ....he's the fucking man but a big discredit to any hip hop fan that says if it wasn't for Dre's beats 50 wouldn't have done shit the man is the hottest thing in hip hop maybe in music all together right now and if anyone who knows about the hype around him before his album came out was all due to him...he did his own promotion....He was garunteed platinum before he signed the deal with shady aftermath all on a count of hard work going into the studio and recreating other peoples songs and making them hot.....How many artist can actually say they went on tour off of a mix tape He's like a sucessfull version of weird al of rap and for anyone to hate and say he's not hot is just jealous of the fact that he's doing it more than anybody in rap has ever done.....

Oh and the two hottest songs on that album were Gotta make it to heaven(Megahertz) and U Not Like Me (Red Spyda)....If the Man can stay alive long enough he will be one of the most sucessful rappers ever...like it or not

how many 50cent threads do we need?

Now, seriously, how many really think that Dre actually makes
the beats instead of letting the less known kids do the work
and just putting his name on the tapes? The same thing that's
been said about Eminem's "producing" applies as much to Dre.

14--21 questions produced by dirty swift for midi mafia

Just because it's on of his biggest singles doesn't mean Dre produced it Dre only got credit for four songs and only two of the were not co produced by someone

Yeah you're right just like there are ghost writters there are ghost producers but it's not like they take it completely ....they pay a good amount to get these no name producers.....with out a name it's hard to make money producing....Timbaland does it Manny Fresh does it Clark Kent is infamous for it and the Rza has done it but the only difference with ghost producers is they get no credit at all

Additional keyboards by Luis Resto

So what the fuck did he actually do ?

Jeff Bass was the ghost producer that probally knows em and sold the beat to em and in turn em sold it to nas em gets production credit and points off of nas album......em probally paid Jeff Bass 10,000$ and in turn sold it for 30,000-50,000$

I know that Luis Resto is a part of Em's production team...

Anyway, let's say the above theory is close to the truth, what a nice and easy way to make money...just selling other people's stuff for 300% extra...:)

It is true and the fact that you know that Luis Resto is a part of Em's Production team proves it even more....Does Nas or Columbia records know who he is? No they don't know who he is...So nas is look for trscks and em's man Luis makes this hot ass joint but can't get it off cause he's a nobody...It is an easy way to make money but it also hurts..Once this guy gets a name he can do it on his own and go from 10,000$ or less a track to 20,000$ or more a track

Now I wouldn't mind ghost writing, and all if I was getting paid. So how in the world do you get the big boys to want to buy your beats???

you get the big boys by contacts you know someone that knows someone and then you and the big boy talk bussiness and he offers you 5,000 for your beat....He shops it to major artist and if on likes it he sells it for much more than he bought it for it sucks but that's the way it works until the ghost gets his foot in the door ...There are other ways to do it but if you are able to get to a major artist and or label they will give you the same thing but you will be taxed by the american government and you would have to probally have a manager who gets 15 - 20 % of the money because record labels (major labels) don't accept unsolicited material and if you go to a small independent label they would probally want you to be a part of there production team and they get a cut along with your manager

First of all Em didnt get paid for the beat he did for Nas. Em said it his self he dont produce beats for money cause its not about the money cause he already got that. He do beats for the love of music. DR Dre is a great Mind and he knows hot shit so if he buys beats off of another "BEAT MAKER" i dont care cause a producer is the guy that takes the project to the next level. The truth is some of us is beat makers and some of us are producers and a producer is like a coach on the sports team cause remember the lakers before Phill Jackson......Well the same with Dre he knows how the do the damn thing. But yea the 50 album was good and it had to be way under budget album wise cause there was no name big name producers on it other than Dre and that was all inhouse so that cost nothing.

Easy killa I didn't know Slim Shady had an Ill muzik bodyguard!!!! well if He didn't get paid for the beat that he"GAVE NAS" well his man that made it did get paid Em didn't just say here nas to some work that wasn't even his I seriously doubt that Luis would have let that slide with him making a joint and Em give it away for nothing...use your brain nothing is for free some money was giving up for that track Em might have gave it all to the producer and if you do look at the credits it does say that all progaming and keyborads were done by someone other than Em!!!!!!!!!

And as far as Dr dre last time I checked he was the man and nobody is dening that so before you get all personal about someone you don't know read what exactly was said Ghosting is used for cats to get there foot in the door not for other producers to take credit for...Next time be easy Mr. Orange men

If you knew what you were talking about you would know that there were some producers on that album with hits under their belts and it was not an in house album....It seems that you didn't "READ THE PRODUCTION CREDITS"!!!!!!!!!! Rockwilder is a very well know big name producer he did like my style on the album...Red spyda also is a big name he did a few joints for your boy Em and Megahertz also has a few hits under his belt so before you run off at the lip do your homework so it wont seem like you don't know what you're talking about because you really don't....Before you try to make a strong statement do your home work so you wont look like a fool.......

Fellas....fellas....take it easy :) don't get all tough on each other over a difference in opinions, that's plain stupid.
We're here to talk, discuss, debate, pass on valuable info etc...if you have a difference in opinion, be men about it. Try and argue for your opinion and if it goes nowhere, let it be. You can't get everybody to have the same opinion as you, that's that.
Have a drink together when you meet and talk about the things that you CAN agree about...;)

I don't have a problem with anyone having a different opinion cop it's just when people get all tuff I have a problem with it I never backed down from an argument or ran from a fight a day in my life and I never tried to use any scare tatics to hide the fact that I was wrong and didn't know what I'm talking about...If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I 'm also a muslim and we don't practice turn the other cheek....I have no probalem with admitting I'm wrong and in this situation I'm not!!! I have nothing but respect for Copenhagen and the rest of the illmuzik staff ,but I have a real problem with these pansie ass mammas boys that wanna be tuff but if it 's not going to be nothing I'll buy fame keyz a drink I would join but i don't drink so it's up to him wether it's going to be peace or something else

Inrctyhoodmusic & fame_keyz, I'm not wanting to take sides but I believe Inrctyhoodmusic is 80-85% right. The 'problem' is perhaps the way you came at Fame_Keyz. A lot of people have a tendency to react as he did when people come down on them like you did. Fame_keyz might believe that he is right or maybe he's now found out that he was misinformed but will never admit it because he won't let you hit him like that and also give you the satisfaction of being right...and Inrctyhoodmusic, if you keep dissing him instead of being more diplomatic, then he ain't going to listen...would you?
I don't know if this is the case and none of the above is meant as negative...just wanting to help and share my thoughts.

Take care fellas...
