16bit or 24 bit

which sounds better tha 16 bit or 24bit sound (wave sample) i know tha 24 bit would sound better but can we really tell tha difference between them two.

i cant hear the diffrence.i use all my sounds with a 16bit resolution.

24 bit=more headroom. Then mixed down to 16 of course. I always record at 24bit.

^^^ yeah what he said .. honestly u wont hear a difference unless u have really experienced ears .. the main difference is that u get more valuable headroom
