Have any of you producers ever put out any singles on wax?

Whether you have or haven't would you only put some out if you had MC's rhyming on them?

i keep thinking about putting out a 12", but it just doesn't seem financially smart. it's too expensive to press up vinyl. alot of places i checked wanted at the least $600 for 100 records. and 12"s don't sell for a whole lot of money.

as a producer i think putting out instrumentals on wax should only be done if its a piece that can stand on its own without an emcee.

i havbnt but if i did id have an MC on some and leave the more intricate beats as instrumentals
