    Ok for example i will load up a piano sample in ableton and it sound fine put that same sample in fl and the shit seems to sound alot louder for no apparant reason could it be the fl mixer or my ears ?

    Stick with ableton and use the drum racks it the shit so easy and uncomplicated(sp) but you have fl with edison and the fpc so thats another option but too be honest give ableton a chance and you'll realize its just so simple.

    Ok here's the answer load the fpc then have your sample/percussion in the fl browser then drag the sample into the fpc after that if your using fl 8 on the right or left u should see the the key number eg c4 then click on that and scroll to your far left and u will see learn hit that then hit...
