    Its true about record labels not wanting sampled beats anymore. Ive been fuckin w/ two major labels here in cincinnati and in MIA and all they want is 100% composed ish. Even if its pure FIRE, theyll toss the track immediatly once they hear its a sample. I think sampling will still live on...

    I agree. You should just drop it anyway. Some of the hottest beats have been sampled many times before. Its all about how you make it original. Most people when they hear the beat will not know either, just make it your own.

    I would just recommend using like 3 or 4 different kicks and layering them with a small bit of panning. Like a punchy kick, a pillow stuffed kick and deep kick and fuck with the levels until it hits just perfect.
