    EQ Entertainment video: Feedback

Real nice video Nomics. I was feeling you studio set up as well. I used to only use FL for my beats too but started to incorporate Reason a few months ago and use them both now. Good work all round. The beat was hot as well. I would make a video like that myself but it'll probably last...

Promotion To Movie And TV Productions Companies

Thanks they're all good points. I've been thinking about getting a manager for a while. It's just that picking the right person is the most important thing to consider. Do you know of any management companies I could go to?

Promotion To Movie And TV Productions Companies

Over the last few months, I've had a lot of feedback from you guys saying my beats would be a fitting soundtrack for movies and tv shows. I just wondered if anyone knows of a good way to promote music to film and tv production companies? I'm interested in getting into this type of thing so I...

    What's your process

I usually just listen to the intro and the outro of the song when I'm looking for samples, but some of the best sounds I've found are when I'm just sitting back listening to the record and things will just jump out at me. I'll then turn on all my gear and get working on a beat from there.

    bring diggin

I normally go for names I know or record labels I like. When I've been feeling rich, I've sometimes bought records because the cover looks good, but I don't do that that often. I have made a lot of errors in the past by buying stuff I thought was something else. Most of the time when I do...

    Cleaning techniques

I use this vinyl cleaning fluid I got hold of. You just spray it on and rub it in with the brush provided. It works pretty well.

    How Many Records you got?

I got close to 900 records and about 500 or so CDs. I used to have all my records in crates but now I keep them in a floor to ceiling shelving case. Much easier for storage.

Yeah I agree with you there. I prefer to chop samples myself. That way you're in total control and can mould the sound in a way. Sample CDs are good. I use a few ZERO-G or Time & Space CDs for various kicks, snares, bass lines but most of my sounds come straight off vinyl.

November 24-28, 2004 - FINALS ROUND 4: FrictionBeats vs. ProducerGyal

I've gone with Gyal on this one. Both tracks are extremely good. It was a hard decision to make but I went for Gyal's cos it just seemed tighter and I really liked that bassline. Well done to both of you though. Good work.

November 24-28, 2004 - WORLD ROUND 3: Chedda vs. Holmzini vs. ProducerGyal

Votings not stopped yet I don't think. It's pretty close. You've still got a good chance.
