    I have used it a little, it's pretty slick. The goal of it is to recreate the sound of their hardware mixes on purpose so it is NOT neutral at all but it does sound good. For the most part I can do all that with plugins in Logic or Reason though. Especially if you have the Slate stuff.

    Man idk, I have used both extensively and it's close but Cubase may have an edge here. There is a reason most of the top Hollywood film composers use Cubase, Hans Zimmer, and Junky XL to name a few.

    Reason can do that although not as elegantly. That being said if you are scoring to picture Reason is NOT the daw for you. I do disagree though, they will keep adding features to the DAW side for sure. Most of their user base does not use it as a plugin. cubase is awesome! Enjoy!
