@hosie Nice drums, I like the "gritty" sound of them. The kick has a nice sub frequency to it. They could use some extra layers or variation (cymbal?) to give them even more character. Sample is dope but I feel like the chops are a little too "random". They're not flowing along with the drums...- TWU

Need new pc!
Lenovo is garbage in my experience... If you want to load your DAW with a bunch of CPU heavy plugins I would recommend something with at least an i-7 processor and 16GB RAM. -

It's a style thing I get it. I feel it's too "niche" for beat battles. I can definitely hear the musicality in your beats and therefore vote for some of them, but I'm just not a big fan of the chiptune sound in general. I think it's the wrong audience here, people tend to vote for more basic...- TWU

Dinner Party || Chill, Jazzy, Lo-fi Beat
Nice vibe, I think 2Good said it already. All instruments go well together, arrangement is solid. Drums also on point, they got that "live" sound which really suits this particular beat. But they kind of drown in the mix. Also not a fan of the open hihat(the sound + panning)... Other than that...- TWU

Yeah, I do something similar. Most of the time I use the whole drum bus as a source to sidechain all other instruments (which I route to 1 with a compressor on it), to get clear drums without being too present in the mix. You can indeed set the kick and bass bus to mono, but I feel a plugin on...- TWU
