I think FL Studio's time stretch is awesome....I've never used CE's time stretch...I've always used it to only chop samples....and it is so easy to use.... -

Even when I do small chops and arrange them, I sometimes stretch them to be a certain length so there's a better transition and sounds smoother... I don't use Edison to chop my samples..I use(d) Cool Edit Pro...I got the pads so I could be more creative. I think with a program this powerful... -

Never said it wasn't bad or unusable. But a lot of people went from FL Studio to Maschine (including myself). We were able to time stretch a sample in 2 seconds if it was needed. For example... I chopped this ILL loop. Thing about it is, there's some variations in the length in... -

DP. Because not every sample gets chopped to death. Sometimes looping is needed. Also...some old school tracks may not be exactly on point...so some may be off... which kinda throws things off a little bit... I was able to work on some, but not all loops that I've loaded into here. -

Yeah, as soon as I posted that, I found it...found out how to cut it and everything...Thanks... I'm working now on importing samples into it. Baby steps....learning all over again is actually pretty fun. -
