    i understand this too... but what happens when 100 people buy the same keyboard? 99% of them love the sounds right out the box and they all use them... then a few records, songs and beats later, everyone's complainin that they all sound the same. people start usin the word "cheesy" and stuff...

    this statement is one of the main reasons people take equipment back. they want preset, ready to go sounds, instead of diggin deeper into their machine. then they give premature reviews online and say the machine is wack bcuz the sounds are lame. da relic

    it dont matter to me... factory, sampled, internal... dont matter... they all get ran thru the eq and other filters anyway. da relic

    ive heard one of his albums on Polydor records. reminds of my Juno 6, and when my crew had a "beat box" and an "echo chamber." crazy stuff. to think all the stuff he has can be had for a few hundred bucks in a box of cds...lol. curse u technology...

    thx for the info on the Juno midi conversion Formant. the Fusion and the Nord do a good job though. im happy with both of them. i really think im done with the sound department of my studio, other than speakers. i need some powered monitors to go with my NS10s. da relic

    1st off... make ur beat lengths longer... they loop to quik.... makin them longer will have them sound less repetitive. i dont know if ur keepin thos beats, but the "gimme that" sample was used by EDO. G and the Bulldogs. and "History" is Mary J. Blige. im not sure if u knew that and u wanna...

    the sequencer options are still bein worked on for the Fusion... keep the MPC 1000. its always good to have a sampling drum sequencer, and a workstation. i think thats the perfect set up. oh yea... hollowsun did the same thing for the MPC1000... maybe u can find it... i dont see it, it might...

    tailor the beat to the melody, thats one way... and never use the same sounds twice if u can. especially the kick n snare. da relic
