If the instrument isn't in the same spectrum, you could, but the quality sound would not be as good.. then again, it depends of what sound you want... Example: recorder over a Kick.... possible, but then the kick will sound damped... Also, sometimes, you can use the kick with the sound and... -

huh? I'm a fl studio user, really... I,m just asking those questions to help out my boy, but I know squat about the mpc... except how to make a sequence, placing sounds on the pad, and make a song (by putting sequences together...which i found kinda wierd...) By the way, while I'm at it... -

^^^^just a lil reminise, that's all, but y'all know what I'm saying. That synth has been used and abused... and is still used today. Dont know if there is one that is used more than that one. -
