That's too bad. It's always fun just to play around with the MPC instead of using an app. Of course the computer stuff is going to be much more powerful but it's always good to have some standalone hardware. Years ago I thought about just using my DAW but once I got my MPC it just made it fun... -

Man, I hate seeing that shit. I know it's a quick way to make money from your beats but at the same time it ruins it for everyone else, especially beatmakers that aren't known. Why would someone buy beats from a nobody when they can get it from someone that has produced for big artists? I've...- Fade

That's always tough to figure out. My friends gave me the name MC Fade in high school (don't know why, probably because of a Metal song with fade in it, they were all Metal heads), then I progressed to DJ Fade then just Fade and sometimes MisterFade. I thought of changing it years ago but...- Fade

How successful are you on Beatstars?
I used to write for Airbit so I was able to ask some questions to the owner a few years ago. With sampling he was just "meh". I'm sure it's the same on Beatstars that they know beats will have samples but they just have to put a warning up, because really, how are they supposed to police that...- Fade

What I realized with any beat-selling websites is that it's not about those sites in particular, it's ANY site you have your beats on - you have to promote it. Those sites are good for selling but too many guys put their beats up and hope to make sales, when in fact there's a ton of beats on...- Fade
