how do you apply an effect to the overall mix. like say i wanna use compression on the whole beat or eq on the whole song. how do you assign those fx to the whole beat? i use fL 4 - that kid making bangers since 04' please help..... -

How many songs shoujld I put on a Beat CD Demo?
i'd go wid 10 to 15 of your best shit make it like a beat Lp rather then a demo. start the cd wid a banger and end it wid a banger. people remember mostly the last thing they heard in detail. as the first track will make them listen to the rest of ya cd.....- that kid Last Laugh Ent." LoL". -

start wid a clean kick snare and then drop levels on everything but instruments- i got it i'll definately try that. i think my problem is just throwing a drum or snare in the mix without any thought of what the mood is or what i'm tryin to accomplish. thanks for advice- that kid... -

to make your drums blend better into a track? is there a method to make drums kinda like melt into the track. i can't seem to do this. i tryed messing wid volumes and eq but when i listen too my tracks the drum patterns really stick out. it seems when i listen too my beats i only hear the drums... -

i'm hearing that after your shit is mastered most companies say it will sound as professional as anything in the industry. the problem is the music you submit has too be mixed down properly first. i wanna know how much it costs? if anybody here has done it before. i would say 9 out of 10 people... -

i do both. if using sample after i get the sample i add drums too it. if iam goin to create a melaody then i lay drums first so i have a foundation for a melaody. whatever works best for the type of sample i got . " tryin ta war wit a king, your all pawns//...
