i dont think its necssacary to sample from records to make dope tracks. hit up a local library if ya got one and see if they got cds there. and jus rummage thru them and listen to them.
uk isnt jamaica
and id like to note im just assuming but i myself look for records in places and all i ever see if the same few artists etc. but thats just my area.
everyones situation is different
it says hes from jamaica.
do u think those types of records are as available there as they are in the us etc?
just look on newsgroups and file sharing programs for any old school stuff and you'll find what you need
below 60hz is a good place to roll off. and you gotta drop the freq in the bass at the same place u wanna boost the freq for the kick. it will keep the 2 from fightin for the low end
"do you know what dog food tastes like?
it tastes just like it smells!!
delicious!!!"
lol
or
"ii remember the first time i ever sucked dick for crack!!!"
try changing the strings. it could also be that the bass is just a peice of shit.(no offense, just when they are real shitty, they sound crappy like that)
i feel the same way. which is why i have been practicin music alot more lately. my next step is to learn how to play guitar, then buy some tables and go at it on the wheels of steel. i've become very good with drums bass and piano. i dont think ill sample much. not unless i hear that jus insane...
