yea fade use the same plugin also blue tubes plugins which is as close to vintage gear as you can get. it comes as a bundle and has compressors, limiters, eq`s , some nice vintage delays chorus, flanger. this bundle will definitely add warmth to your mix. -

i dont throw away any samples. once i sample a sound i keep it wether i use it or not. samples that i do use i always come back to see if i can make something hotter than the first track i made with those samples. -

my opinion is being that you made the beat and you used samples that can be reconized its first your responibility to get those samples cleared, on the other hand if the label is going to release the songs under their name with those samples in it without being cleared then the weight will fall... -
