Well I don't necesserily listen to black artists so it's tough for me to recommend someone specific. I like Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, RHCP - those sort of bands. That sounds really nice. Solid idea. Kick sounds good, snare punches nicely, hi hats and percussion are cool. Now the 808 feels like it doesn't fit here, as the beat is kinda slow tempo and the 808s are short and coming at you pretty fast. Another thing is that it feels like the sort of keys...- Flintoast
