i honestly dont feel that we will ever see real hip-hop on tv...if we dont make moves on trying to get what we consider real hip hop heard...buying records...promoting records...etc...we all realize that everyone is for where there is money...especially guaranteed money...and its is not there...

my situation is that i travel...sometimes for short periods...like a week or two....and its not the greatest trying to carry a full blow pc...especially when going international...its not so much that i can just walk around with it all day everyday

Marketing strategies are definitely key in getting an artist out and records sold...but u still have to have product....we all know that caanibus is a great lyricist...and production he has for the most part is decent....but all these elements have to match...into building songs if they are...

it depends on how much u tryin to spend....i personally dont use fruity loops other than to get sounds from...but producers like the 9th wonder uses fruity loops to this day and is making hot trax...but also as Exampul_One said "Honestly, only you can decide what fits your style."
