    another thing to think about is the cats that have styles different than roc's. some people don't want beats like that...as long as you're on some different vibes you might be safe.

    basically sampler/dr rex goes into the modulation inputs of the vocoder and the synth (what youll be playing as the sample plays) goes into the carrier inputs and then the outputs of the vocoder go to the mixer. the sample wont be audible until you play the synth...the tricky thing is you need...
