Logic 7 vs. ProTools
Ok, so here's a dumb question that has probably been asked and answered before so PLEASE forgive me for asking. Can I do a session in Logic 7 Pro (sequence my beats, samples, drums and such) then take that session into ProTools 6.4 to mix and edit??? I guess that would be ReWire. Help! I... -

Now that's grindin' homie!!! Which Dr. Rhythm did you work with? I don't remember but it was small and rectangular in shape and had only a few decent drum sounds. Sounds like you've been at it for a minute. I've been at this since 1986. Holla at me Relic!!! -
SONAR or PROTOOLS
If you can afford Pro Tools TDM, (at about $6,000 minimum) you get 32 max tracks, I have ProTools LE and I've got 32 track capability. TDM systems have more tracks that that. -

What do you usually mix with?
I don't have any monitors as of yet plus, I live in an apartment complex so I mix with AKG K-220 M Headphones. They are noise canceling so I can hear pretty intricately. However, it is much better to use monitors for overall mixing, panning and the bang of the drums and headphones for... -

^^^^ Yeah, that player sounds like a crap!!!! i don't understand the purpose of the volume lever either. It doesn't even raise the volume that much. Audacity is nice. I use it as well. I just wish there was a Mac version of SoundForge though. It just seems a little more intuitive.- DJ Xsinna
