it sounds like an issue with the way he burned/dedicated the cd that he gave you. it could be the software or options that he is using within the software to burn the disk. i'm not sure about the compatibility of 'data disks' between mac an pc. maybe get another disk incase the one you have... -

Is there a program that can give me an indication of what frequencies my voice is? I have read somewhere that a human voice is roughly between certain frequencies, but I was looking for software to identify exactly what frequency a specific voice is. -

hmm in protools it would not work because when a track is bouncing it is unadjustable. I guess the equivalent would be to preform these adjustments by processing the verses/hooks/ect with the desired eq before bouncing, but that would not be eq automation though might get the same feel. I do... -
