    I've already got the project setups, my time stretching done, sample is chopped like I like, drums all there but I never liked where I was going with it. For some reason this song creates artifacts with a slower bpm and a faster one. I just feel like my project resembled the original song too...

    I don't agree with your chord progression on this one. It never resolves smoothly back to its root note. I also never felt like there was a clear verse part, chorus part, bridge, etc. It was just kind of flat the whole time

    I dig the jazziness of this for sure, jazz that sounds like its actually played is so hard to achieve. One thing that bugs me about your drums is that bongo/conga/cowbell sound that's so scary close to the metronome sound in Ableton lol. the whole time I felt like someone left it on by accident
